Abstract
In this proposal, we want to study the static and dynamic properties of superfluid Fermi gases confined in a double-well potential. The bosonic counterpart of this system --- Bose-Einstein condensate in a double-well potential --- has been extensively studied in the past few years. The fermionic system, by contrast, has received much less attention. We will study this problem using two different approaches: a macroscopic phenomenological theory and a microscopic mean-field theory base on Bogoliubov-de Gennes equations. (AU)
