Abstract

Dr. Germà Garcia-Belmonte is Associate Professor in the Department of Physics, Universidad Jaume I - Castellón de La Plana - Spain and Researcher in the Group of Physics of Photovoltaic and Optoelectronic devices, under supervision of full Professor Juan Bisquert, in the same university. He has researched in various topics within the field of Organic electronics and photovoltaic such as electronic mechanisms in organic light-emitting diodes, and plastic and thin-film solar cells. Prof. Garcia-Belmonte's main subject has been the use impedance spectroscopy (including modeling and measuring) in device physics. By means of this project the visit of Prof. Garcia-Belmonte to the IQ-Ar/UNESP will be posible. His presence will allow fruitful discussions with Ph.D students and professors of this institute and enable future internships between these research groups. In special, the professor will offer a course (3 days) together with other professors. In this period, the visiting Professor will transfer his experience in order to improve the impedance spectroscopy technique applied to energy conversion devices and biossensores in our laboratory (IQ-Ar/UNESP).
