Abstract

The BDA is a synthesis telescope, which consists of 26 parabolic dishes operating in the frequency range from 1.2 to 1.7 GHz. For calibrating the visibility amplitude and phase of the interferometric signals it is proposed to use signals from GPS satellites operating at a fixed frequency of 1575 MHz. Software for the position of GPS satellites and its calibration will be written in C ++ language. Trial programs on simulation of the above will be coded to test the validation of the software programs. Also, it is proposed to write the necessary hypertext markup language (html) programs to post the observed daily solar images in the INPE website. (AU)
