Abstract

The aim of this project is to promote the visiting of Dr. Antonello Cannas from Sassari University to UNESP, Jaboticabal campus. This visit will be of great importance to the departament because Dr. Cannas is an expert in small ruminant nutrition and modeling applied to animal science. Modeling is yet incipient in the Animal Science Department of FCAV/UNESP. In this regard, with the visit of Dr. Cannas this subject will be extensively worked out and can be consolidated in the department. Is worth note that modeling is a field of studies which is the state of the art of the scientific knowledge, as it allow the utilization of not just the generated data throughout the time in one determined research approach but they also allow the identification and indication of future researches. The presence of Dr. Cannas in the FCAV/UNESP will make possible the development of new field of studies, which are in consonance with the world's scientific advances, making evident and exalting the importance of this visit.
