Abstract

Professor Rosa Suñol has been researching and using the results of research in the organization of health services management and more specifically in the theoretical studies of the interface between the management of organizations and society's demands, personnel management and technical resources on the integration of the health organizations. Dr. Rose Suñol is director of the Avedis Donabedian Autonomous University of Barcelona Institute, President and Director of Research Quality at Donabedian College of Medicine, Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). Serves as co-Editor of the International Journal for Quality in Health Care, as well as coordinates research project involving eight countries in Europe, about the understanding of quality for services improvement. For 25 years deals in areas related to health organizations, projects and implementation of more than 230 quality programs in hospitals, social services, home care, health centers, mental health centers, drugs centers and primary health care throughout Spain.
