Abstract

Prof. Tall will work with Prof. Junqueira, and with other members of the group, in three research topics.1. They will work on several important problems related to the Lindelof property, using the new methods of topological games and selection principles. This approach has been very productive and results has already been obtain by him and by the members of the research group involved.2. They will continue previous work on investigating ways of obtaining new interesting topological spaces using elementary submodels, the preservation of the topological properties by these operations and applications of the technique. 3. Continue recent work done by Prof. Junqueira, Prof. Aurichi and the doctorate student Rodrigo Roque Dias about properties related to the existence of sigma-discrete denso sets in topological spaces, some of these properties are also related to selections principles and topological games.
