Abstract

The aim is to develop academic activities in order to stimulate and fortify the exchange of experiences in social research among group of investigators in the fields of Public Health, Environment and Sustainability and the visiting scholar. The activities will be held with the group of professors, investigators and graduate students of the Research Group in Social Research and Public Health of CNPq and also with the Nucleus in Urban Sociology NAU of FFLCH - USP. With the visiting professor José Machado Pais of ICS - University of Lisbon, the discussions will be focusing methods and theory in interdisciplinary research in the perspective of everyday Sociology and Urban Anthropology to be used in the study of social and cultural changes of present day societies and in the sustainability of nations and social groups. The visit also aims to increase international ties of the University of São Paulo in the field of Public Health. (AU)
