Abstract
The visit of Prof. Graham Cottenden will be very important for us to discuss male costumes and pattern building for costumes of the 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th century. This area has been underdeveloped at the University of São Paulo and we strongly feel the need of its development so we can better understand contemporary male costume. Besides that, it is a unique opportunity to enlarge studies on costume design, and students may immediately apply what they learn in class. (AU)
