Abstract

In this proposal, we request support for the visiting researcher Prof. Dr. Lucio Gama to the Division of Clinical Immunology and Allergy and the Graduation Program on Allergy and Immunopathology, both at the School of Medicine, University of Sao Paulo. Prof. Gama will develop his activities in teaching and research in our group, through three monthly visits during 2012, besides continuous collaborations throughout the year. We anticipate, as results of this project, a continuous technology transfer between the participating laboratories at the University of Sao Paulo and the Johns Hopkins University, besides joint publications and new opportunities to Brazilian students and researchers.
