Abstract

Success in endodontic treatment is dependent on the correct tooth lenght determination, and for that the endodontist may use technological resources currently as digital radiography and apex locators. This study aims to verify the accuracy of various electronic devices through an in-vitro experimental model in which the 15 human maxillary first molars will be included in sodium alginate using standard hexagonal patterns in order to reproduce the structures of support both electronic and radiographic taken in order to allow three different radiographic standard views. The measurements obtained for each device or method will be recorded and the results compared statistically among themselves and with the measures determined by conventional and digital radiographic methods.
