Abstract

The objective of the proposal is to develop a research agenda to deepen our collective understanding of how housing policies, transportation and land use planning, environmental protection and economic development strategies can be formulated more effectively in both São Paulo and Los Angeles, with each learning lessons from the other. As the initial activities, it has been scheduled one research seminar to be held in São Paulo, next August, and a following one in the first semester of 2012 in Los Angeles, to detail the agenda. (AU)
