Abstract

In order to become an institutional model in the setting of c1inical research, is of paramount importance to have a proper infrastructure for the development of all phases of clinical trials, procedures, equipment and devices for diagnostics in various institutes of the HCFMUSP complex, thus consolidating the objectives put forward in order to meet the growing demand of Brazil's participation in this sector. Among the changes that have been devised, we highlight the participation of the institution and its researchers in the national and international clinical research, contributing to the development of strategies defined by the Ministry of Health, the integration of different disciplines to improve the quality of clinical research and increase the capacity of development of all phases of clinical trials, procedures, equipment and diagnostic devices.
