Abstract

Will be presented in this project the need for improvements in IT infrastructure (Information Technology) of CNPEM, referring to the shared resources used by the various areas of scientific, technical and administrative. The process of reviewing and updating technology is common and necessary when it comes to IT, making it even more careful and shorter cycles in a research center as CNPEM where IT services are heavily used in the generation process knowledge. Given the increasing demand of IT services, this project aims to modernize and expand the computing infrastructure of network servers and storage systems files (arrays). With these improvements will be possible to increase the reliability, productivity and predictability of the data center CNPEM. (AU)
