Abstract

The amount of the Institutional Grant from research grants will be used for the improvement of the research facilities and will benefit other research projects supported by FAPESP in the University. The grant will be invested in different research facilities: the Dental Research Lab II (microbiology, immunology and molecular biology), where the majority of research projects from the Dentistry Graduate Program are concentrated; the new Biotherium, which was recently constructed in order to improve the quality of the experiments with animals; the Center for Clinical Trials, where all the clinical studies are done; the Center for Laser in Dentistry, which is under construction to benefit researches in this field; and the Research and Graduate Studies Division. Description of the equipment/materials are presented in the specific form sheets and the Annual Application Plan was approved by the Guarulhos University Board. (AU)
