The RBF/BJPT mission is to publish original research reports in the field of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences, by covering basic and applied studies on the assessment, prevention and treatment of movement disorders. The RBF/BJPT is a bimonthly journal that provides an English electronic version concurrently with the printed version in the Scientific Electronic Library Online - SciELO, becoming the only Brazilian journal in the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy fields that also provides an English electronic version. As an official journal of the Association of Research and Post-Graduate Programs in Physical Therapy (ABRAPG-FT) the RBF/BJPT is a collective initiative of the major Brazilian research groups in Physical Therapy that are members of the Association. These research groups maintain 14 Post-Graduate Research Programs in the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences fields that are recognized by the Brazilian government for the training of Brazilian researchers in these fields.
