Abstract

SAMU is currently in the process of regionalization, with the goal of providing assistance on a regional basis so no municipality is without immediate assistance to emergency cases. In some systems Emergency Service, demand for the service is high due to the care of patients in critical condition to light, increasing the level of server utilization. In such systems, there may be formation of queues and the need to consider explicitly political priority in care is extremely important and requires extensions in the hypercube model that have never been explored in the literature. Moreover, the number of servers that meet emergency calls can be great. The objectives of this project are: (a) Describe the calls and the calls of SAMU-Bauru/SP, (b) analyze performance of the SAMU-Bauru/SP (c) Extend the hypercube model with priority queuing to SAE 's with more than one server VSA and partial backup. To verify the feasibility and applicability of this approach, it is important to be conducted a case study on an SAE that besides the original configuration of the SAE is possible to analyze alternative scenarios, including alternatives to the regionalization of the SAMU. The performance will be evaluated in terms of key performance measures such as workloads of the ambulances, the ambulances travel times, response times to users, among others. (AU)
