Abstract

Michelle Tellez, assistant professor and coordinator at CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY EAST BAY will contribute to the conclusion of the international research project, titled PROCENF EVALUATION: ARE THE ASSESSMENTS TRIGGERING THE CORRECT NANDA-I DIAGNOSES? This project is being developed in partnership with the professors and coordinators Heloísa Helena Ciqueto Peres and Diná de Almeida Lopes Monteiro da Cruz, in collaboration with researchers and clinical nurses at the USP University Hospital and the members of the USP Information Technology and the Nursing Workflow Working Groups. See Research Protocol attached. It is noteworthy that Prof Tellez will also participate in the course ENO 5859 - Information Technology and Nursing Workflows, a course required in the Masters Program in Nursing Admisnitration - PPGEN of USP School of Nursing. The activities she will participate include: lecture, advising, and co-authoring articles to be submitted to international journals. Additionally, Prof Tellez will make a presentation, part of the International Speaker Series, titled Nursing Practice and Workforce Issues in California.
