Abstract

The research project aims to map the scientific literature on Organization of Information and Knowledge in the articles indexed in international bibliographic databases for thematic indicators and the degree of internationalization of this production. This mapping will be held from journal articles indexed in the Brazilian and international databases: SciVerse Scopus, Web of Science and LISA.This research joins the project of Professor. Nair Yumiko Kobashi's CBD / ECA approved by CNPq, entitled "Brazilian research in knowledge organization: thematic indicators, internationalization and collaboration networks (2002-2012)."The corpus of the study "Indicators Theme and internationalization of Brazilian scientific production in the Organization of Information and Knowledge in bibliographic databases" will be on the topic identified in the international databases.Whereas the production of information in an area of knowledge is guided by the characteristics of the field, their social and cultural practices, policies and scientific resources available, this mapping with data from different sources (national and international) will identify research trends and research support policies that contribute to raising the profile of Brazilian scientific production in the field of Organization of Information and Knowledge.
