Abstract

This research intend to realize the flows of identity and alterity in the relationship created between São Paulo and Guarulhos and, more specifically, the identity and alterity built by young residents of Bairro dos Pimentas a neighborhood Guarulhos in their dual relationship with Guarulhos and São Paulo. The use of imaging in research and dialogue with neighborhood similar profile in Lisbon conducted by a researcher at the Open University of Portugal will be a key part of the methodology of this proposal.
