Abstract

A good control of QoS, strong security and management features which go beyond the LAN boundaries are key issues for the performance of a network with the dimensions of the USPnet. As the reponsability for handling the inter-campuses traffic passes from AANSP to USP, the opportunity arises so that some investiment is made in order to reach a new level of quality for the university s communication infra-structure. This project describes an architecture for this infra-structure and defines a set of equipment which implements the net. (AU)
