Abstract

Due to compuiter software and hardware exponential advances, the InCor-HC/FMUSP hás acquired the first multi detector computed tomographer with 320 slices (MDCT320) in Brazil. Early assessment may allow unfluencing its adoption and diffusion in the healthcare system. This study aims to compare non-invasive MDTC320 coronary angioatomography cost-effectiveness to the conventional invasive angiocoronarygraphy, investigating ≥ 50% coronary stenosis or myocardial perfusion defects in patients presenting with thoracic pain angina-like and to the previous MDCT64 study results.
