Abstract
The present thematic project (SANICH) is seeking the support of FAPESP for the development and implantation of a non-intrusive flame analysis system (SANICH) using techniques of acquisition and processing of digitalized images by computerized tomographic reconstruction, complemented by Laser Anemometrics System for Punctual Diagnosis. In this context, this project will have a fundamental application in the deepening of knowledge involved in combustion phenomena of burning, with application in several activities and projects under way in the Associated Laboratory of Combustion and Production (LCP) at the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), as well as in the diagnosis of several industrial combustion processes such as in furnaces, incinerators and combustion chambers in general. The System could be used, in the future, in the automatic control of industrial combustion processes. (AU)
