Abstract

The III International Symposium on Forage Quality and Conservation is being organized by the Department of Animal Science of USP/ESALQ aiming to bring again to discussion relevant themes in this scientific area and provide knowledge to the production industry, as we did in 2009 and 2011. The text publication in the Proceedings form wants to integrate ideas and research lines of many countries. There were invited specialists in strategic areas. The selected themes were chosen based on the forage and coproducts conservation. The presentations were organized in specific areas as follow: Silage management, Forage quality, Food safety, and Hay management. (AU)
