Abstract

The building of diagnosis on Veterinary Medicine is constituted by the rational assessment of the problems or events, their causes and by the study the effectiveness of the decisions taken. Research in Veterinary Medicine diagnosis is all investigation procedure that will provide information helping recognizing problems and events related to animals, their health, reproductive and zootechnical efficiency and well-being. The USP FMVZ favors actions to modernize the laboratory infrastructure directed to these activities and that facilitate integration between researchers from different laboratories, promoting the exchange of people and resources toward this research topic, encouraging the availability and access to facilities and equipments. This is a network model where each laboratory works with their speciality and their professional and personal expertise. In Phase VI of this project we will continue to progress toward strengthening the proposed prioritization of modernization of the technology support and laboratory infrastructure on two fronts: a) Architectural projects and reforms of research laboratories of the Departments of FMVZ. a1- Architectural projects of infrastructure reform of Research Laboratories FMVZ isolated in São Paulo and Pirassununga; a2- Architectural design and Reform of Research Laboratories, Department of Internal Medicine, Campus of São Paulo; a3- Architectural projects of infrastructure reform of Research Laboratories of the Department of Preventive Veterinary Medicine and Animal Health - VPS and Department of Pathology - VPT; a4- Architectural projects of infrastructure reform of the Research Laboratories of the Department of Animal Reproduction; a5- Architectural projects of infrastructure reform of the Research Laboratories of the Department of Animal Production and Nutrition - VNP (Animal Research Production). b) Purchase and installation of equipment designed for the development of research infrastructure in diagnosis. b1- Restructuring of the Electric Grid of the Sector of Anatomy, Department of Surgery - Building Vincent Borelli .
