Abstract

The Institute of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo (USP - IPq), with more than 60 years and remodeled in 2005, has its premises in a modern lending library accessible to health professionals working in the institute and also the community. This library has helped many students and researchers in their studies and develop their research, making the IPq - USP one of the largest centers of development of health knowledge Complex Hospital and Clinics. Due to the 2005 reform, the furniture and equipment are still suitable for use. However, the floor carpet needs to be replaced. After reviewing several options for flooring, we chose a replacement by a granite floor, taking into consideration that this material has high durability, is easy to clean and maintain. This project seeks to review and approval of the use of Institutional Technical Reserve IPq - HCFMUSP the year of 2013 to reform the floor of our library. (AU)
