Abstract

The main objective of the study is to analyze the integration of health services for the treatment of tuberculosis in health services in cities of the south, southeastern and northeastern Brazil. The research uses the primary data collection (health professionals) and secondary (medical records, information systems, records and books of records of monitoring of TB treatment in 7 counties of southern, southeastern and northeastern Brazil, namely: Ribeirão Preto (SP), São José do Rio Preto (SP), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Uberaba (MG), Foz do Iguaçu (PR), Natal (RN), João Pessoa (PB). These health professionals will applied a structured questionnaire and structured questions for qualitative analysis. There will be a secondary data collection in relation to TB patients who have had treatment outcome in 2012. Moreover, we will evaluate the implementation of the use of an information system mobile device to assist in the completion and coordination of actions during TB treatment. Such evaluation will be based on the analysis of the reports generated by the system, and the observation and interviews with professionals who will participate in the deployment of technology. analysis data will be using methods of descriptive statistics using the software Statistica from Statsoft. Such results will be useful in the evaluation of services and care process TB, strengthening the management of clinical and health care networks, as well as provide information to managers TB Control Program subsidizing decision making, in order to assist in the integration of programs and services for the care of patients with TB.
