Interior point methods applied to hydroelectric systems Predispatch with security constraints and bus and lines maneuvers

Abstract

Specially designed primal dual interior point methods for minimization of generation and transmission loss of a hydroelectric predispatch power system with network topology change, security and service reserve anciliar additional constraints will be developed. The resulting matrix structure will be exploited aiming to an efficient implementation. The implementation to be performed will be compared with an existing one, that does not consider either topology change or additional constraints, regarding both: the solution features and computational performance.
