Abstract
The Professor Chakraborti of the Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business, University of Alabama (UA) is a leading researcher in non- parametric methods, has published important books on the subject and more than fifty articles in international journals. It was one of the participants of the International Symposium on Statistical Process Control, in the city of Rio de Janeiro in 2011, which brought together deliberately, a small group of international researchers to present their research in development, and thus facilitate discussion and planning collaborations in future research and to consolidate relations of cooperation already started in 2011 with the University of Alabama. Thus, it is expected to develop new projects in the area and boost participation in research networks in collaboration with the University of Alabama. With the visit of the researcher, we can disseminate scientific knowledge produced by academics for professionals of industrial enterprises. Lectures, short courses and workshops for graduate students are planned. (AU)
