Abstract
The work of Dr. Durval Muniz de Albuquerque Junior in the Department of the History of Unicamp unfolds on two main fronts: discussion and exchange on the rich thought of Foucault, highlighting his contribution to the historiography, subject in which this professor is a specialist. To this end, in addition to offering a course, give advice to research projects that are in the same theoretical orientation or theme and conduct workshops and lecture to the students of the program, but also open to students in related fields. On another front, professor Albuquerque will work with the historical research that he is currently developing on the "História da Saudade", which will be extremely fruitful also for our students and researchers, since the topic is original in Brazilian historiography. The presence of this researcher and professor in our program has been very fruitful in other occasions, resulting in new and deepening problematizations important in our research themes. As an expert in articulating the philosophical reflexions of Michel Foucault and the historical production, he will contribute to the work of students, researchers and professors who develop their research oriented by the same concerns. Having a closer contact with the research that is currently developing in the field of history of sensitivity and subjectivity, dealing with a subject not addressed by historians, as the "saudade", that is central in Brazilian social and cultural life, but that is articulated the political dimensions and formulation of central works of literature , art and the Brazilian social thought , with repercussions on Brazilian historical production itself will be of great value to graduate students attached to the Department of History at UNICAMP.
