Abstract

The existence of correlations between some of the activities done in the museum environment, which in most cases consists of library, archive and museum itself thinking enables the functional integration of these sectors as although contextualized differently about the use and ambiance of these spaces , the purpose is the same - so treat the information that is available to managers , staff and users of museum information . In this sense, it has the primary objective to present , discuss and propose improvements to the tools used by information science documentaries that provide optimization of processes occurring in the museum environment. To do so , the chances are guided in the treatment of differentiated information . The methodology of this research consists of theoretical and practical work , and is subdivided into five stages : Bibliographical Research , Field Analysis , Proposal Development , Implementation of these proposals and Preparation of the Final Research Report , which will be held in two years . It is expected that the results provide significant contributions to the Organization of Information and Knowledge with regard to artistic documents processed in the museum, in archive and library.
