Abstract

This research intents to analyze the incorporation of co-management strategies, and Institutional Support and the Matrix Support (Campos, 2000) and its impact on management practices and care in the public health system (SUS). The field work will be conducted in the municipalities of Campinas (SP) and São Paulo (SP). In each of these contexts the research data will be raised on both lines: Institutional Support and Matrix Support. The study belongs to the field of research with mixed methods and participatory research. For the generation of empirical material, the following strategies will be conducted: A) historical-structural analysis of official documents and the exploratory quantitative study, B) Participant Observation C) Focal groups. For the interpretation and analysis of the data, triangulation of data (Minayo et al, 2005) will be used. Finally, we intend to raise propositions that can support the work of the participants of the research, as well as managers and health professionals in public health system in general. (AU)
