Abstract

Cisplatin and Temozolomide are effective oncologic drugs, but its clinical use is highly limited due to adverse toxicity. Clinical studies show increased antitumor activity when there is administration concomitant these drugs with radiotherapy. The pharmacist technological advancement and the development of systems with greater biological potential favors drug absorption by the target when combined with a suitable pharmacokinetics. This action minimizes the side effects usually present that limit the drug administration in doses above of conventional. In the present study aims to evaluate the effect of the radiosensitizers chemotherapeutic Cisplatin and Temozolomide when carried in drug delivery systems and associated to phthalocyanine chloro-aluminum photosensitizer.
