Abstract

It is essential to ensure the quality of life, the existence of a good system of emergency care. Among the many aspects involved in the quality of this service, one of the most fundamental is the speed of the service call, which, in turn, depends on a good queue management. In such a complex environment as a Mobile Service (SAMU) is necessary for the existence of mathematical models to describe it and analyze it, incorporating all the uncertainties involved; accordingly, the hypercube model was a breakthrough on this issue. The hypercube model, however, is limited when there are multiple dimensions that must be optimized, and some of them have trade-offs. Bearing in mind this gap, the research proposed in this project is the integration of technical data envelopment analysis (DEA) and hypercube model aimed at finding a heuristic solution to optimize the efficiency of a SAMU considering multiple parameters. In achieving this goal will be first necessary to establish a structured framework for scenario construction procedure; sets constructed from the hypercube model will be used to describe them as parameters such as the workload and the response time; between these vestments be raised inputs and outputs as a basis to qualify each scenario in terms of efficiency; Another important point is the search for the model, referring to DEA, which is the most suitable for integration with the hypercube model. The proposed integration of the two techniques upon receipt, it will be validated and improved through the application SAMUS the city of Ribeirão Preto and Bauru, whose data have been collected in previous surveys.
