Abstract

This project refers to the application of the Institutional Research Contingency Funds to Access ANSP Network. According to FAPESP, this aims to partially fund the Internet access. We intend to use the funds this year to continue the adequacy of internal university network, taking into account the new radio connection with INPE, established last year. In February 2013, UNIVAP was officially accredited as a secondary institution of RNP. With this in mind, we are actively participating in the deployment of a fiber optic network in the city of São José dos Campos, named "Rede MetroVale", in the context of the project REDECOMEP/RNP. This network will connect institutions of RNP and ANSP to gigabit per second speeds. Our plan is to bring the internal network of the University ready to work efficiently, as soon as the new network starts operating. (AU)
