Abstract

The FCFUSP gives important contributions to the development of studies on new drugs, pharmacogenetics, evaluation of bioequivalence and bioavailability of generics, nutraceuticals or functional foods, diagnostic reagents, among others. All scientific developments provided by our School have increased the quality in education, in new knowledge, in the formation of new prominent students (both undergraduate and graduate), since the transmission of knowledge is centered on research. Another aspect to be highlighted is the quality of extension services, which are enhanced by the technical and scientific developments of the staff of the Faculty, also stimulated by the scientific research. With some of the highlights presented in this project, we can assure that our school is prepared to meet the challenges of the new century, contributing effectively to the development of Science, technology and the provision of service to the community.
