Abstract

The goal of this research is to identify and discuss the contributions of the disciplines of psychology to undergraduate students of nutrition course and for the professionals who are in service. In addition, this research seeks to understand the needs of non-psychologists professional to face emotional and behavioral factors that has direst influence in the attitude and health of people. Thus, a desk study will be conducted in various institutions of the State of São Paulo how professionals in nutrition and a field study with the course coordinators, psychology professors, students and working professionals. In accordance with this research, it is expected to identify concepts, themes of psychology and build strategies that offer extensive training, as well as strengthen research in psychology and nutrition that contributes to the professional practice of nutrition, following the new demands of the population.
