Determination of the hydrogen storage properties in metallic nanomaterials

Abstract

Prof. Meyer has a prominent role in the development of instrumentation for the determination of hydrogen storage properties of materials, as well as research on the synthesis, processing, structure and properties of metal hydrides or complex. Thus, the visiting researcher should contribute to our group, in our ongoing efforts to build equipment for measuring kinetic and thermodynamic properties in nano composites for hydrogen storage. Furthermore, there is similarity between our group and the Argentinean group concerning specific research interests on materials for H2 storage, including magnesium complex hydrides, such as Mg2CoH5 and low-temperature hydride such as LaNi5 and TiFe.
