Abstract

This document presents the needed improvements for CNPEM´s Information Technology(I.T.) infrastructure. These are shared resources used by the scientific, technical and administrative areas.The technological update along time is very important in I.T. and it is strategic for an excellence research center as CNPEM. All the I.T. services provided at the center are intensively used during the generation of scientific knowledge and intelectual property rights.Due to the increase on demand of I.T. services, technological lags and the plans and directions discussed in the strategic planning the goal of this project is to update and expand the core of I.T. infrastructure hosted at CNPEM´s datacenter. These improvements will bring us more confiability, productivity and predictability for the information produced and manipulated by this institution. (AU)
