Abstract

This research investigates the trajectory of Georges Dumas (1866-1946) - psychologist, university professor and "cultural ambassador" of France in Latin America - in order to understand their role in the formation and institutionalization of "scientific psychology" in France as well as in the process of internationalization of science and French culture in Brazil.
