Abstract

The IAG Library has one of the best collections in the southern hemisphere in the areas of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences, with more than 22,000 books, 43,000 volumes of 1,133 journals, and more than 1000 theses and dissertations. We will install a system of sliding shelves, creating more room for the users and improving storage conditions. The cost of the sliding shejf is R$ 180,000.00. (AU)
