Abstract

Dr. Yassin will participate in the discussion of data analyses of research projects at doctoral level, developed by our research group as follows: *Populational structure of Drosophila sturtevanti and biodiversity of the drosophilids in areas of the Atlantic Forest and its use in conservation programs. Process FAPESP: 2014/14059-0 *Phylogeography of Drosophila sturtevanti in areas of the Atlantic Forest (Diptera: Drosophilidae).*Genetic variability and population structure of Drosophila sturtevanti in the Atlantic Forest biome. We will also discuss and carry out the statistical analysis of data of a study that will be publish in collaboration: *Madi-Ravazzi L, Yassin A, Debat V and David JR. Isofemale line analysis of Fluctuating Asymmetry of four meristic traits in the drosophilid Zaprionus indianus. In addition, Dr. Yassin will present a seminar for Pos graduate Programs of IBILCE/UNESP in the areas: Genetics, Animal Biology and Microbiology, entitled: *Evolution of the Drosophilidae Family: phylogeny and ontogeny Dr. Yassin will also participate with us in the IX Symposium of Genetics, Ecology and Evolution of Drosophila that will be held in the period from 08 to 11 November 2015 at the University of Brasilia (UNB): http://www.drosophila.com.br/index.html (AU)
