Abstract

We request a visitor researcher grant to the researcher Domingo Cuéllar Villar (RENFE Operadora, Museo del Ferrocarril Madrid-Delicas and Autonoma University of Madrid) for collaboration in Railway Memory Research. Professor Domingo Cuéllar has coordinated several projects research in railway history, and scientific production and and advising on economic history of Spanish transport and railroad heritage.The lectures collaboration activities Domingo Cuéllar aimed, on the one hand, contribute directly on the revision and expansion of studies on the history of transportation in addition to the recognition and analysis of historical sources for the railway company. Contribution in the following aspects in relation to the Railway Memory Project, which is bound: a) collaboration in research activities of railway documentary sources (administrative and financial) and railway technology (training and rolling stock providers), with respect evaluation of sources available for research; b) assessment of research lines that could be structured according to the preserved documentation and access to the query. His staying will be opportunity to test and aprimorarmos instruments, models and forms of analysis developed by the team compared those presented by researcher visitor. The participation of a visiting researcher can both improve our analysis models and research potential. (AU)
