Abstract
This research project seeks to analyze the effects of some substances in the oviposition and the involvement of the same in the signaling pathways of oogenesis the parasite Schistosoma mansoni. For this, the reproductive system and thus egg production in vitro by parasite couples will be analyzed in the presence of deubiquitinating enzymes inhibitors (DUBs) (b-AP15 and PR-619), CNT-siRNA for siRNA Dubs, PSI (proteasome inhibitor), PAP-1 (proteasome activator), as well as effects on the morphology of the component parts of the reproductive organs of males and females parasites, apoptotic activity and expression of TGFb signaling molecules transcripts involved in reproductive growth of this parasite . Thus, the research project will allow its development to obtain advances in understanding this signaling pathway involved in the development and maturation of the reproductive system of the parasite. This process of oogenesis and oviposition are important biological factors for the development of schistosomal pathology in the human host, identification of these molecules can be considered as a future therapeutic targets of this disease.
