Abstract

Proposal for research that aims to investigate alternative experiences and proposals of experts for the initial training of teachers for the teaching of sciences in the initial years of schooling that provide subsidies to rethink the courses in the Brazilian context. For both, intends to: develop a panorama from the scientific literature in the area of education, of the proposals and the experiences of formation of teachers for the teaching of sciences in the initial years of schooling; Identify universities with alternative experiences of formation of science teachers for the initial years and know the experiences of at least two institutions; identify Brazilian researchers with expressive contribution in the area of training of teachers of the sciences and investigate, together with the, proposals for the training of teachers for the teaching of sciences in the initial years; The systematization of the contributions of the different sources and discuss, from them, the possibilities to rethink the training of teachers for the teaching of sciences in the initial years of the Brazilian context.
