Abstract

This project aims to commercially develop services that were created from the research performed in Phase 1 PIPE / FAPESP to build a technology platform capable of (1) automatic music Identification through improvements in the performance and accuracy of audio-fingerprinting algorithm; (2) aggregate, consolidate and validate the data about compositions and recordings using machine learning techniques and big data; (3) capture and analyse thousands of audio sources such as radio and TV stations and websites; and (4) report the circulation of compositions and recordings in different sources. The developed research led to the identification of a business model for the company and the existence of business opportunities in the areas of business intelligence and Copyright management who joined other two other: music promotion and digital distribution. Thus, the company has defined its business plan based on the creation and supply of four services: (1) Copyright Management, (2) Monitoring & Data Intelligence, (3) Promotional Campaigns and (4) Digital Distribution.
