Abstract

As our research is theoretical and historical the bibliography reach two main issues. The first is related to survey and analyses of audiovisual performances that takes the materiality of medium as a start point. We've been observing works have been developed with scarce and powerful material resources. They are few in quantitative terms, but they are over exposed and repeated a lot, taking so a great significance, besides the small material amount. The second aim is to expand the framework of concepts and notions as event and presence. These two fields constitute the main researches lines because they are related with our research subject, the real-time Audiovisual Performance, especially those created through the medium materiality.Jácome (Bahia), Caio Fazolin (São Paulo), Fernando Velásquez (he is from Uruguai and live in São Paulo), Leandro Mendes, also know as VJ Vigas ( Santa Catarina), Alexandre Rangel (Brasília), VJ Spetto (São Paulo), Jeraman (Pernambuco), Henrique Roscoe (Minas Gerais) and Luiz Duva (SP) are the main group of artists who will take the main role in our researches. Software developers they have different relationships with technology, but they work against the hardware and software rules. Rangel, Jácome, Jeraman e Roscoe are artists that studies at University and fall in love with Vilém Flusser's theoretical body of works discussing Flusser ideas as performative practice of showing image materiality. Gustavo Torres and Felipe Nokus explore medium materiality on a S-8 film. Poetry of live vanishing is our target. (AU)
