Abstract

Professor Kifer is an icon in the area of Dynamical Systems and Ergodic Theory. His visit to Unicamp aims at continuing a collaboration in course with the principal investigator on stability of dynamical systems under random perturbations. Apart from that, Professor Kifer should teach a short-course on research areas with focus on probability in dynamics. Such a course is expect to attract the attention of post-graduate students, researchers, and professors not only from the Unicamp, but also from other universities from the state. (AU)
