Abstract

The proposal includes a visit of Professor Kari Bo to the functional evaluation of the pelvic floor laboratory (LAFAP) of Ribeirão Preto Medical School- University of São Paulo. The main line of research of Prof. Kari focuses on the function of the pelvic floor muscles, their dysfunctions and rehabilitation through exercises. Professor Kari is a renowned and award-winning researcher in the field with significant international scientific output. The programmed activities include collaboration in researches developed at LAFAP (preparation of manuscripts and new research projects), participation in postgraduate courses, and a scientific symposium held in partnership with Women's Health Laboratory from UFSCAR.
