Abstract

In the perspective of strengthening the link between the public university and society, the use of the Fapesp Institutional Technical Reserve for the Unifesp Support Foundation (FapUnifesp) will focus on communication and dissemination of academic activities (teaching, research and extension) of the university, in order to make the universe of scientific research, in its diversity, accessible to both university and external audiences. The project will be developed within the Direction of Publications of FapUnifesp. Particular emphasis will be given to the publication of the scientific production developed within this university and, also, in other Brazilian public universities, through Editora Unifesp. To this purpose, the project is divided into three subprojects, namely:1. Consolidation of Unifesp Publishing House, by means of: a) publication of scientific works, in the form of books; b) development of strategies for dissemination of published works; c) acquisition and maintenance of publisher equipment.2. Support to scientific journals produced at the university, particularly in the area of Human Sciences.3. Actions of communication and scientific dissemination, in print and digital media. (AU)
