Abstract
The interdisciplinary research project seeks to map discursive practices that legitimize the use, regulation and governance of algorithms in the Public Sector, from monitoring diagnostics and proposals of automation and replacement of routines previously performed by public servants. English, Spanish and Portuguese content will be analyzed, between 2000 and 2018, from state, business and academic segments. The main research hypothesis is the increasing proliferation and implementation of algorithmic automation, machine learning and, specially, of predictive algorithms, regardless of their immediate benefits, consolidate discursive practices that imply increasing the technological corporations presence by defining important dynamics of public management, due to the complexity of the algorithms regulation.
